How Playing Video Games Help You Manifest

What do Board games, video games, and social media games all have in common? They all provide a platform in which you are granted an opportunity to harness your power, set clear intentions, and manifest glory! Games have been doing this since way before Monopoly and Pac-man. Childhood games like Knucklebones and Ball and Cup still employed the same agenda as it holds today — survival of the prolific. Nowadays, thanks to technology we now have virtual games housed on social media sites which make gaming that much more accessible, appealing, and challenging.

Gaming has always been known to positively transform lives that were once disheveled and in states of disrepair. However, despite their ability to completely alter our outward look on reality, it has developed quite an unfavorable reputation over the past few decades. But, why exactly? Engaging in gaming pulls you from your current, most-predominant thought process, propels you into a new, diverse reality, and creates a pleasurable, seemingly-intangible experience. Now, in no way am I encouraging escapism through gaming, so use your best judgment.

At the start of a new game you’ve never played before you get to learn about how the game works. You meet the character(s), discover the agenda, and fidget with the controls. Once you’ve played a few rounds you begin to realize you have to play smarter, not harder, and opt for strategizing moves to get further along. Eventually, you’ve gotten hip to the method of the game, you anticipate the curve balls, implement your winning tactic, and move on to the next level! If you think about it, gaming is very much like our Human experience on Earth. When we arrive in a human body we discover there are a few Universal rules to start us off, but the rest of it is learned through experience, strategy, and pure intuition.

When we play games we immediately state an intention (usually to ourselves) that we are going to win. Or at least attempt to win, right? And even if we aren’t completely clear in the beginning of the game as to if we want to win or just play to enjoy the process, we still have the opportunity to revise that intention further along in the game. When this happens, we usually end up surprising ourselves and other players who clearly didn’t see us creeping up from behind! This happens in life all the time. Think about when you or someone you know wandered aimlessly through life, just-a-living, only to change their focused intent midway through their 20’s, leaving an impact on everyone they know!

Games allow us see just how powerful of a creator we truly can be. Passion pours into our every move as we speculate preeminent moves and necessitate decisive actions. While setbacks are not a huge disappointment either — we know if we muddle a level it’s never really game over because we can just start over again. Life shares these similarities to gaming as well. When you have a desire to fulfill your intentions you contemplate the forks in the road, you take action that’s purely inspired to get you to your goal, and you know that there’s always more than one chance to get it right.

There is one last part of playing games that allows us to become adept at manifesting in our physical reality; that is camaraderie and resources. Asking for assistance from fellow gamers and/or characters within the game, and obtaining life-giving amulets or one-ups is essential to experiencing and completing a successful game of any sort. The help of others may seem counterintuitive, especially if you have a competitive streak, but in actuality, garnering resources and expertise shifts you closer to your intention manifested! In the real world this may look like having a mentor who can provide you tools and techniques to move toward your goal, or pooling your resources by asking friends and family to support you in some way.

So you see, whether it’s a virtual game on a website, a video game, or even a board game, they all possess the power to aid us in becoming manifesting experts. In our daily lives when we have a desire we must harness our powers, clarify our intended outcome, take action, and finally our intention manifests into our physical reality! Now, if we take only a fraction of the focused energy we use WITHIN a game and utilize it for winning our own game of life, we’ll realize we can make seemingly immaterial experiences reality, too.

Computer Mouse Options

In case you are wondering what a mouse is, (a computer mouse that is), it is the device that controls the movement of the cursor on the computer monitor. The mouse is able to simplify a number of functions for the user. Functions that allow you to drag, drop, open folders, draw, and much more, are made a lot easier because of the mouse. You can find three main types, the mechanical, optical, and the laser. Let’s take a brief look at them.

There is the mechanical mouse, which is also known as the ball mouse. It is able to move around because of the rubber ball located inside it. The ball can rotate in any direction. Sensors are located inside the mouse, which can tell which direction the ball moves when the mouse is moved, and point the cursor on that same track. It is normally rolled along on a pad, however, dust particles sometimes become entangled with the ball, and this causes it to malfunction. This is easily rectified by cleaning.

Next on the market was the optical mouse. This model is activated by a beam of light, known as LED light, which is emitted by the device. The mouse uses what is known as digital imaging technology, to determine the position of the cursor. That information is then used to position the cursor on your computer screen. The use of this technology eliminates the need for balls of any kind.

The third type is the laser mouse. This is similar to the optical mouse. However, it uses a small laser to track the movement of the mouse, and then position the cursor. This model is considered extremely responsive, and the easiest to use. However, due to the technology it employs, it is also the most expensive.

The use of the mouse has been linked to injuries in the hand, shoulders, and neck. Studies conducted, indicate that constant clicking of the device can cause swelling, strain, and pain in any or all of these area. There is also a condition known as the repetitive strain injury or RSI that has been identified. This has led to the development of ergonomically designed devices, which are believed to reduce incidences of RSI and fatigue.

The Evoluent Vertical Mouse 4, is a fourth generation ergonomically designed mouse. It is designed to keep your arm in a neutral position and was developed for persons who experienced discomfort when using the conventional, straight-up, wheel mouse. Therefore, it is intended to help users avoid the problems associated with using the mouse for long periods. Feedback has indicated that it is very comfortable, easy to use, and affordable.

If you are looking to buy a computer mouse, there several styles to choose from. When buying one, you should consider the type, the speed, connectivity, as well as the size. They can be small, large, vertical, ergonomic, laser, wireless, you name it and you can find it. It’s a good idea to know exactly what you’re looking for before you go shopping for one.

Becoming A Virus Removal Pro Is Not Easy – Here's Why

Would your life drastically improve if you were considered the "Go To Guy" that everyone calls the minute their computers catch a virus infection?

Think of having the ability to remove spyware, rootkits, adware, viruses, Trojans and more from any and all computers? Today just might be your lucky day, as I have several tips that I want to share with you. These important facts will help you to realize the work, trial and error and time needed to become an expert at malware removal.

The following five skills are MANDATORY, for anyone looking to become a virus removal pro:

1.) Realizing which is the best (and worst) virus scanning software

Learning the best and most effective software to use when removing malware, is one of the most important attributes of a virus removal pro. A vital component of becoming a virus removal pro, is knowing what software to use to remove malware. Not all virus scanning software is created equal; There are some expensive programs available that need to be refurbished (re-purchased) yearly, yet several of these programs are not as effective as some FREE software! In other words, that $ 50 virus software in that shiny new box, will badly detect a mere 3 out 10 viruses – that will CRIPPLE a computer!

Norton antivirus, or McAfee, or Panda, or the most robust solution, are NOT able to remove EVERY infection from a computer (bet you did not know that)! As a matter of fact, no ONE particular software is completely effective in removing all infections from a computer. It is important to use several types of software when scanning for malware, and knowing WHICH software to use is key in becoming a virus removal guru.

2.) The ability to educate users on how to avoid infection (and how to get infected in the first place)

Another skill that must be learned and then taught as an expert, is how people usually get infected in the first place! In other words, you will need to pay close attention to the various infections that are common in the present and not too distant past. Tracking different infections will allow you to also track the infection method, or what caused the malware to "execute" or spread. For example, did the customer click on a picture that they were emailed? Did they click on a "you are infected pop-up" (even closing it)? Did they allow an infected computer on their network?

Knowing how to communicate with and educate a customer on how to prevent infection is a necessary skill that many technicians and consultants fail to learn or practice. Being hard to understand ("geek-speaking"), rude, pushy or is a step in the wrong direction for anyone looking to become a professional.

3.) Learn which processes that run in Windows are "normal" Operating System processes

In order to remove any and all malware from a PC, it is important to know what NOT to remove. Removing system files, folders or other important Windows files can cause a computer to become unreliable, lose data and in the worse case be rendered completely unbootable. It is extremely critical to know which processes running in Windows are valid processed.

This can be difficult to do due to the fact that, whenever software is installed on a computer (either trusted or malicious), that software has processes that run in Windows, or depend on Windows hosts processed (such as svchost.exe). One you are able to identify which processes run in Windows by default, and how to identify processes that are harmful, you are one step closer to becoming an expert. Unfortunately due to the vast number of processes and files that can run in Windows at anytime (and change depending on the computer), it is best to learn this through hands on experience.

4.) Knowing what to do at a time when "nothing else can be done"

There comes a time in every virus infection, when you are not allowed to install any software at all, especially antivirus software that you will use to remove the infection at hand. At the same time, the firewall will be disabled, Windows Security Center will be stopped, the internet connection may be disabled by the malware, the computer will not boot in safe mode or may not even boot AT ALL !! What are you going to do at this point?

A virus removal pro has learned how to "workaround" the problems that an infection can cause. He or she knows how to use an external drive to backup precious data, then scan and clean viruses from a computer successfully. This expert also knows how to re-enable an internet connection that has been disabled by malware, as well as how to remove pesky and difficult viruses can cause internet browsers to "re-direct" to BAD websites (sites that contain more viruses).

An expert also knows how to reserve the damage done during a malware infection, to return a computer back to "normal," especially when it comes to removing the hidden threats that MOST antivirus software NEVER detect. The same threats that steal passwords, credit card information, contact names and information, and more; Then uploading it to other spammers and thieves. Editing the HOSTs file is one method to reverse damage infected by malware, as well as manually removing rogue files that typically appear in the same folder types, such as "System32."

5.) The ability to learn by referencing step by step details or instructions

Is becoming a virus removal pro more difficult than you anticipated it to be prior to reading this article? I have learned "the hard way", that it can take YEARS of hands on training – experiencing various scenarios, many types of infections and behaviors; As well as overcoming many of the issues experienced when removing viruses, to really become a "pro".

A significant amount of time is needed, as well as hands on experience with many different computers, to become proficient in tuning a computer to the level of performance that implemented before becoming infected. Tune ups are needed after every malware removal, largely due to the fact that most infections cause a computer to run "slower" than it did prior to becoming infected.

A tune up consists of (among other things): cleaning the registry, removing unnecessary programs from start-up and in Windows, turning off unneeded services, cleaning temporary files, tweaking Windows settings for maximum speed and performance; And more.

Video Game History in a Nutshell

The history of the video game does not go back for centuries, but it goes back farther than you may have imagined. The earliest ancestor of the game we play today is a game called "Tennis for Two" that was introduced by inventor John Higginbotham back in 1958. This video game consist of a horizontal line across the screen with a short perpendicular line to represent the net. In the 1960's the first interactive video game called Spacewar was invented and then the first game that was played using a television. Then, in the early 1970's the first video arcade game called "Computer Space" was introduced. Then in the mid1970's a little little company called Atari came out with a game known as "Pong" that people could play at home. The first two copyrighted video game products were sold in 1980 by Atari. We've come in the past 26 years or so.

Now there are thousands of games on the market and a number of game systems as well. They keep improving the features and the products. You can even download games to play on your cell phone or play a video game on your watch. You can have a game with 3-D graphics, amazing sound quality and realistic movements. The PlayStation 2, the X-Box, and the Game Cube are some of the bigger names in the industry. The new PlayStation 3 is creating a buzz with its ability to burn DVDs.

There are some concerns associated with the explosion of the video game industry. Children are more obese and less active than ever before and some feel that these games are partly to blame. In response, the video game manufacturers have come up with interactive games with "dance pads" that allow players to replicate dance moves. Some people are also concerned with the amount of violence and sexuality on these games. They see a direct connection with the rise in violence and crime in society. Now the industry is working with an independent advisory board which rates the games for content and age appropriateness. This is a great tool for families who want to control the types of media that come into their home.

The entertainment software industry will continue to improve the products and technology out on the market today in response to consumer demand-the history of this product is far from over, but it has come a long way already.

Then set a timer. When time runs out, ask each well-dressed guest to model her gown. Ask the entire group to vote on their favorite. The winning group receives small prizes, or goes first in line for refreshments.

2. Another Toilet Paper Game

Prepartion time: None

Supplies: 1 or 2 rolls of toilet paper

3. Bridal Shower Purse Game

Preparation time: 10 minutes

Supplies: Paper and pencils for each guest

Before the shower, make a list of about 20-25 items women carry in their purses. Be sure to list common as well as unusual items. Assign a point value to each one, giving the rarer items more points than the ordinary ones. To play the game, give each guest a piece of paper and a pencil. Call out each item on the list, along with its point value. If the guest has that item in her purse, she writes down the corresponding number of points. When you are done reading your list, each guest adds up her own score. The person with the most points is the winner.

4. How Well Do You Know the Bride?

Preparation time: 10 minutes

Supplies: Paper and pencils for each guest

Before the shower, make a list of about 20 questions about the bride and groom. Include information that most guests are sure to know, along with some that only a few will know. Include questions such as, "Where did the bride and groom first meet? When? What is the name of the groom's dog? What is the bride's middle name? Where are they going on their honeymoon?" And so on.

Note: Show your list of questions to the bride in advance, to make sure there is nothing that might become "awkward" for her or any of the guests. This can even be done right before the shower, so you can quickly change a question or two.

To play the game, read each question, giving each guest time to write an answer. If guests do not know the answer, encourage them to guess. These guesses can by themselves be hilarious enough to make the game a success! When you've asked all the questions, ask the bride to give her answers. Award a prize to the winner (s).

5. Were You Paying Attention?

Preparation time: 5 minutes

Supplies: Paper and pencils for each guest

Before the shower *, take a few minutes and make a list of things that guests should be able to notice about the bride if they are paying attention. Write questions such as, "Was the bride wearing a necklace? What color are her shoes? How many rings are she wearing? Is she wearing any lipstick? And so on.

Partway through the shower ask the bride to leave the room. Give the guests paper and pencil. Ask your questions, allowing just enough time for guests to write brief answers. Then call the bride back into the room. The right answers will become very appropriate! Award a prize to the winner (s).

* Or, write the questions quickly after the bride arrives, so you can tailor your questions more precisely.

There are many, many other great bridal shower games to play, but few are easier than these. So relax, and enjoy the role of bridal shower hostess!

6 Dirty Texting Games to Reveal Your Bad Girl Side

Every girl has her bad side, sexually that is. However, few are willing to unleash it for fear of being misjudged and those that do have the courage to do it end up doing it the wrong way. One of the easiest ways to unleash your bad girl side is through dirty texting games. Here, you have the chance to get naughty with your man without the fear of being misjudged.

In case you did not know it, most men love girls who are not afraid to show their bad side in terms of sex. As a matter of fact, bad girls are a big turn-on to a good number of men. Brace yourself as I reveal to you six dirty games you can play with your man to unleash your inner sexual prowess;

1. SMS sex … This is more or less like phone sex, but this time there are no moans and sighs. The best way to play this game is to start it like any other normal conversation without giving any hints. As you continue to send text messages back and forth start getting suggestive by asking him what he is wearing for instance. Watch for how he reacts and make it a little naughty. With each reply, turn to questions that have some sexual connotations and before you know it the whole conversation will become sex oriented.

2. Complete the sentence … This is still another of the many dirty texting games that will encourage your man to revert to naughty answers. The game, like the name suggest involves asking your man to complete the sentence. For instance, you can ask him "if you were here with me, you would?" The kind of answer he gives will automatically tell you if he is open to flirting. If the reply is what you hoped for, get more and more intimate. If it texts you incomplete sentences, complete them with answers that will keep the conversation going.

3. Dare me and I will do it … Your man may never know how naughty you can get until you tell him to dare you. This is one of the naughtiest texting games that will have your man so horny by the time the game nears its end. Simply ask your man to dare you to doing something very naughty. You can even give him suggestions to get the ball rolling. For instance tell him "dare me to send you my nude photo!" When he is on the other end thinking you can not do it, surprise him by sending him the photo.

4. Sex supervisor … Surprise your man by letting him know how much you know about sex. You can do this in a number of ways. For instance, you can give him a sneak preview of a number of sex positions and elaborate how they make sex better. Guide him to perform a number of them by asking him what to do next. Correct him when he is wrong. Basically, show him you know a lot more about sex than he thought.

5. The naked truth … This is one of those texting games that involve removal of clothes. Note that men are turned on by what they see and that being the case you will never go wrong with a game that gives them something to watch. To play this game, engage in a question and answer session that starts with "is it true that?" The partner who gets most questions wrong will send a naked photo of themselves to the other partner. Twist the game in such a way that he wins so you can send him a photo to keep him aroused.

6. The love scene … Set the stage and ask your man over for sex, only that this time you will be doing it with dirty text messages. The game involves creating vivid pictures in his mind about a sex scene involving both of you. The best way to play it is by completing the scene together through texts. You have to be creative with this one so as to make him feel like he is actually having sex with you. Stay naughty and surprise him with dirty lines he'd not expect from you.

Sometimes you may not have the courage to get really dirty with your man face-to-face, but thanks to technology, you can hide behind the camera and unleash the sex tigress in you through dirty texting games. They are safe and leave no room for judgment bearing in mind that you're playing them together.

Virtua School – Text-Based PC RPG Games

Whatever your high school is / was fabulous or not, there are few things funnier than emotionally awkward workers. I can not speak for you (I sure will try, though), but the combination of hormones, pimples, and unwarranted self-importance makes teenagers some of the most comical little things ever. To think that there are RPG downloads for this stuff! Two hilarious chums by the name of Dana Lodico and Josh Noe agree with me, and have crafted a delicious morsel of gaming goodness called Virtua School. I kid you not when I say that this is one of my favorite text-based PC RPG games of all time.

Premise

Virtua School places you, yes you, in the action. To think that those new-fangled games have the nerve to call themselves immersive when they do not even let you use your own name! While it's possible that all of the events of Virtua School happened to you, odds are that you will have to use your imagination a bit, particularly if you are a heterosexual female. Your day starts off in the morning (waking up late, as always), and you already have to make a major decision: take a shower or make the bus on time. The horror!

From there, you encounter several hilariously miserable teenagers through the day, from your friend Bob to a homosexual named Leon. The object of the game is to balance your grades, popularity, and wealth, as well as to achieve various honorable mentions. Aside from its humor, Virtua School beats out all other PC RPG games I've ever played as most replayable. Figuring out different paths to chase all of these rewards makes for some seriously awesome gameplay. Seemingly insignificant decisions will impact how the rest of the game is played, and randomly-generated content keeps things fresh even if you play the same way. No other RPG game download comes close.

Graphics

Well, look at all the pretty colors!

Installation

The game is designed to run on a DOS platform, so DOSBox is a necessity. If you need help setting it up, the DOSBox wiki has a page specifically for you. I'm telling you, no other PC RPG games are worth the work.

Get the game for free from the Virtua School website . Just download it to a directory you'll remember, run DOSBox, mount the directory, and run Virtua! After playing it through a while, check out the Virtua School website to see what achieves you still can grab, and maybe even discover hidden ones.

The Cost Drivers of Video Games and Consoles

The gaming industry has become a huge business over the last thirty years, and companies have been collecting a seemingly endless supply of revenue. As the years passed, games advanced through graphic design and innovation. Prices for these games and consoles increase with each new generation. The average new video game today costs consumers about $50, while the average console costs between $250 and $300. Why do they cost so much? What costs go into creating these devices that make it so expensive for customers? This article will explain what cost drivers, or factors that cause changes in costs for activities of creating products, affect the production of games and consoles. This should give the younger demographic a better understanding of what it takes to create a game.

The best way to explain the cost drivers of gaming is to go through the five main steps of a product’s cost life cycle: research & development, design, manufacturing, marketing & distribution, and customer service. First we will begin with research and development. This step in developing a product revolves around a single question: what can we do to add value to our products? Companies must answer this question in a way that not only will customers purchase their products again, but new customers will buy from them too. In this case, production managers and employees work on ways to add value to games to satisfy customers.

When creating ideas for the console, gaming corporations must determine how to innovate their products. For example, the Nintendo Wii™, Nintendo’s most recent console, offers innovation through the controllers used to play their games. These wireless controllers (with the exception of the wire connecting the Nunchuck controller to the Wiimote) use motion sensors that give the player a greater feel for what is going on in the game. If you are playing a golfing game, you swing the controller like a golf club in order to hit the ball in the game. This breakthrough in gaming is new to gamers and offers a better use of motion sensor activity than its competitors, Sony’s PlayStation 3™ and Microsoft’s Xbox 360™, which simply offer wireless controllers with their respective consoles. Innovations tend to add costs to production, but the companies know that if these innovations are sufficiently intriguing to the customer, these companies can accumulate enough revenue to make up for these added costs.

After completing the research and development stage, gaming companies then design their consoles and games. They must pay attention to detail; what graphics card to install, along with the CPU (central processing unit, which serves as the “brain” of the system), RAM (random access memory), hard drive, and so on. Each new console requires more memory and faster processors to keep up with consumer demand. The new technology needed for games requires specific designs that will appear to consumers; designs that look attractive and at the same time be cost-effective. The Nintendo GameCube™ was, as it implies, shaped as a cube, allowing for a maximum internal volume (given fixed dimensions) while using minimal surface area and taking up as little external space as possible. With these dimensions, Nintendo was able to put its technology into the console’s casing and keep costs at a minimum. Once these costs are determined, the company must create a selling price in order to make a profit (this is called target costing).

The third step in the process is manufacturing the product. It takes a lot of money to build and manufacture complex technology like video games in order to sell them in mass distribution. Costs have to be allocated to the employees who build the games and consoles, as well as paying for the materials needed for production. A company must take into account how much material and labor expenses will cost the company so that it can maintain a budget. Once they products are complete, they are distributed to wholesalers and retailers.

Marketing and distribution are an important part of determining costs for video games. Companies have to know where to sell their merchandise, as well as who they should target their product to. Video game companies must advertise games and consoles in a way that is so appealing that customers will care less about the cost than what the product will offer them. Video game companies must pay retailers and wholesalers to sell their products to consumers, who in turn give money to the retailers and wholesalers and eventually back to the corporations that produce the merchandise. After the products are sold, they must keep track of the customer’s satisfaction with the games.

The final step in this process is customer service. Video game companies create their games so that they contain as little mistakes or defects as possible. These companies create a customer service program for consumers to call in case the products are defective or broken. If customers are happy with their games, they will continue to buy more games from these companies; however, should there be any problems, customers will contact these companies and explain the problems with the games. Once the companies gather this information, they can use it as research and develop newer models, thus creating a new cycle of creating games.

As you can see from the life cycle of a product, video game companies must spend a lot of money on different costs to create products that customers will be content with. When you take into account all the research and development costs, design costs, materials and labor, as well as so many other cost drivers, it is obvious that creating games and consoles are not as cheap as one may believe. The next time you play a video game, you should feel thankful that there are people that work hard and spend a lot of money on an enterprise made to make people like yourself entertained.

Tips To Survive Your Favorite Endless Running Game App

Game apps on android and iOS are nothing short of exciting and entertaining. There are just so many of the games to try when you have time in your hands and you can make selections according to what game types you find interesting and fun to play. Considering that the games can be quite addictive it is important to exercise control so you do not end up neglecting things that matter all in the name of making it to the next level in your favorite game.

Endless running games are some of the most exciting, especially because of the speed involved and the unexpected obstacles and challenges you must avoid and get through to keep moving up the levels. These are games that will keep you holding your breath hoping that you do not suffer fatalities making the quite popular among users. The choices for the running games are numerous and more keep being developed every now and then with improved features and challenges. But how can you try and improve your survival rates when playing the running games on your smartphone or tablet?

Tip 1 – Position the phone strategically to maximize the game graphics. The size of your screen will determine how big and visible the graphics; it may be a good idea to flip your phone horizontally to get better visibility and bigger images for that matter to improve your gaming experience.

Tip 2 – Understand what the running game is all about. The running games are always about dodging obstacles and enemies among other challenges. The only way you will know how to run right is if you know what you are supposed to avoid and what you are supposed to run right into to gain rewards. Try and get as much information about the game as possible before you start with your run so you do not end up running blindly.

Tip 3 – Check out demos and practice to get familiar with the game. Some of the running games will come with demos that you can use to get familiar with the game. Take advantage of those to get a feel of what the game is all about so you can enjoy an easier start.

Tip 4 – Try as much as possible to play uninterruptedly. Regular pauses in the running games will only increase your chances of instant death once you un-pause. Try and enjoy a smooth run until the next stop, but don’t pause just because you feel the challenge has become too much or too hot to handle.

Tip 5 – Learn to relax and remain in control of the run no matter how intense it gets. When you freak out tackling a challenge you increase your chances of making wrong moves and turns that end tragically. In as much as you want to win, remember it is just a game and therefore not a very serious matter.

Tip 6 – Know your rewards and how to use them to your advantage. Some people find it hard to move up the levels because they do not make use of gained rewards such as coins.
